The Guesclin Charitable Organisation The isle of Guesclin is on of the most remarkable gems of the Emerald Coast, lying in the bay of the wearing the same name, natural site departemantal sensible featuring a flora and fauna, characteristic for the Saint Malo region, under protection from DOCOB Natura 2000, off the Coast between Cancale and Paramé, the isle is heavy in legends and history, marked by the passing of the barbarians, the British and a glorious Briton family, its magic and radiance also derive from one of its hosts, Léo Ferré, who encounters inspiration for composing and singing some of his biggest sucesses. The new owners have insisted on preserving that heritage and, for future generations, on sustainable development respecting nature, using equipment such as wind turbine, solar panel and sweet water cistern in order to ensure survival/life on the island. Such a patrimony is to be shared and it is in this spirit that the founding members have gathered in order to initiate the charity « Les Amis de l’île du Guesclin », an isle of inspiration and creation, between land and sea, in Saint Coulomb, in the departement of Ille et Vilaine.
